The initial reaction was not so great, to say the least, with countless complaints pouring in from every possible direction. Shoddy delivery service and poorly dealt packaging were just a couple of issues raised by fuming customers.
But, this was soon followed by an unprecedented turn of events wherein a number of other brands began to reply to the post, adding their own twists to the tale. The quickest ones to jump on the bandwagon include the likes of YouTube India, MobiKwik and TVF.
The story doesn't quite end with that; taking the hint, Zomato put out something rather interesting earlier today. Staying completely true to its tone of tongue-in-cheek humour, the latest post read - Guys, kabhi kabhi khud ke acche tweet bhi soch lene chahiye.
However, it doesn't surprise us when brands try to ride on something trendy to draw consumer attention to their products and the services they offer. Nonetheless, it's nice to know that sometimes current hot brands do make "friendly" moves like this to prove their respective points, rather than throw cruel jibes at each other.
