When brands have their own FaceApp moment

It’s not just humans, but brands too are showing off grey hair!

Available on both iOS and Android platforms, FaceApp has been developed by Wireless Lab, a Russian company that uses ‘neural network technology’ to generate ‘realistic transformations of faces’ in photos. The app first made news when it was launched in 2017. It resurfaced recently with a challenge to post the morphed facial images online. After all, what’s the fun in keeping it ‘private’? However, amid data security concerns and all the frenzy surrounding the app, it looks like brands have found another wave (read trend) to ride on.

Here are a few brands that are having their own FaceApp moment.
