IAA India presents First-ever IndIAA Tamil Advertising Awards

India Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) presented its first-ever IndIAA Tamil Advertising Awards in Chennai. The event was supported by MediaNews4u.com.

S K Swamy, Chairman and World President, IAA Globalspoke about the global agenda of IAA to protect the Freedom of commercial communications worldwide while protecting data privacy. He also shared that IAA Global will invest in continuous professional education and accreditation to global curriculum.

Sam Balsara, founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Madison World and Madison Communications, the lead keynote speaker at the event spoke on the subject of "Challenges and Opportunities for Brands Today". He shared that while earlier, only a few advertisers used to dominate ADEX, this is not so today. Hence, There exists an opportunity for regional and local brands as they command a high loyalty. Small brands are growing at a fast pace and for those with entrepreneurial spirit the time to launch is now.

B. Srinivasan, MD, Vikatan Group spoke on regionalization of content and shared data to establish that Indic languages are really growing well.

Pradeep Dwivedi, Chairman - IndIAA Regional Awards said “IndIAA Regional Awards is the epitome of recognition of creative talent and marketing execution in diverse languages of our country.
