POKKT appoints Dinesh Kailash Kumar of Amazon as CTO

POKKT announced the appointment of Dinesh Kailash Kumar as their Chief Technology Officer. He will be based in Bangalore, leading the technology function at POKKT and will report to Rohit Sharma, co-founder and CEO, POKKT.

Dinesh Kailash Kumar has worked with global organisations like Amazon, InMobi, Microsoft and Yahoo, to name a few. At Amazon, he led a 50-member International Tech division in Bangalore, where his teams built software solutions for the automotive category in EU, JP and IN and vendor management solutions globally.

Prior to Amazon, Dinesh was with InMobi as their VP of Engineering. In this role, he led the brand and programmatic engineering initiatives managing engineering activities spanning across Bangalore and San Francisco.

Rohit Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO of POKKT welcomed him and said, “Dinesh is amongst very few technology leaders in the country with such relevant and strong Ad-tech experience including search, display and mobile advertising at Yahoo, Microsoft, InMobi.
