Fingerlix is positioned as a ready-to-cook food solutions brand, targetted at today's progressive homemakers.
Shripad Nadkarni (co-founder of MarketGate, a brand consultancy, that was acquired by the Publicis Groupe in 2012, and an investor in Hector Beverages, manufacturer of Paper Boat), along with Shree Bharambe (senior vice-president, MarketGate and ex-Johnson & Johnson), Varun Khanna (vice-president, MarketGate and ex-Colgate), and Abhijit Berde (ex-Gate Gourmet, an airline catering firm) recently launched the food start-up Fingerlix.
In the new set up at Fingerlix, Nadkarni is director, Bharambe is chief executive officer, Khanna is vice-president - sales and operations, and Berde's designation is product development and executive chef.
Commenting on the launch, Bharambe says in a press release, "Fingerlix was created to help homemakers prepare 'customised-to-their-taste' food at home every day without the slog. Since all ingredients used are absolutely fresh and the products free of preservatives, Fingerlix food is ideal for daily consumption."
He further adds, "It doesn't just take away from the hassle of cooking, but also adds fun to home food with its exciting array of dishes. Our endeavour is to be the constant partner of those who love their tasty traditional meals at home, but don't always have enough time at hand to spend long hours preparing it."
