Practo's Premanshu Singh moves to Coverfox

Coverfox.com, an online insurance market place, has appointed Premanshu Singh as the chief executive officer (CEO). Singh's appointment is part of a planned leadership transition, as he succeeds Varun Dua, who has moved on to set-up a new online general insurance company.

He will spearhead and lead the strategic growth at Coverfox across critical business areas, including strategic business planning and development, partner management and customer engagement, driving engagement through new touch points and overseeing transformational customer experiences while including newer products with attractive and customised price points. His primary focus will be on sustained business viability and charting a suitable course for the future.

Speaking about his new role, Singh says, "Coverfox has set-up newer benchmarks and milestones in the online insurance space with their service commitments, product portfolio, partnerships, ever-evolving technology, and investment in creating customer experience. According to the press release shared by the company, Singh has more than 10 years of experience across sectors - such as FMCG, technology and start-ups. He has pursued MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. His last stint was at Practo as the vice president - marketing. He has led senior level roles in strategic planning, marketing, sales and business development at leading corporates such as Johnson & Johnson, SMS Gup Shup, People Interactive, Shaadi.com, Webaroo Technologies and ITC. He co-founded a2zbaby.com in 2011, an e-commerce store wherein parents can find products of their choice for their kids.
