RD Burman music n iPhone X ad; Twitter drama over credits

The official credit for the music goes to Pete Cannon, for his song Bang Bang which he says was inspired by Burman’s song ‘Meri Nazar Hai Tujhpe’ from Bollywood movie, The Burning Train.

Remember RD Burman’s song ‘Meri Nazar Hai Tujhpe’ from the 1980 Bollywood movie 'The Burning Train'? iPhone X has released a new ad film, the background score of which sounds an awful lot like Burman’s song (the beginning). Well, official 'music credit' has been given to Pete Cannon, for his song 'Bang Bang', which he says was inspired by Burman’s song!

When he tweeted about this new ad, claiming to have produced the music for it, Indians who love RD Burman started replying and re-tweeting. Burman fans say this is more of a 'cut, copy, paste' job than just 'inspiration'.
