MAXUS Delhi wins GE Money, SBI cards

The cumulative size of the businesses is Rs 25 crore

MAXUS has won the media AOR of GE Money and SBI Cards in a multi agency pitch. Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Debraj Tripathi, general manager, MAXUS, Delhi, says, “The size of business is estimated to be around Rs 25 crore.”

There were five agencies in fray, including the incumbent agency, MediaCom. The names of the other four agencies couldn’t be ascertained.

Tripathi says, “Both the businesses have national media plans except for a a few products of GE Money, which will focus on regional markets.”

SBI Cards is a joint venture between GE Capital Services, the issuer of private label credit cards, and State Bank of India. SBI Cards leverages SBI’s brand equity, customer relationship and branch network, while technological processes and service capabilities are sourced out of GE Capital.

GE Money is one of the leading providers of financial services to consumers and retailers in India, offering a range of innovative financial products. It is a leader in a wide range of products including car finance, two-wheeler finance, consumer durable finance, personal loans and home equity that are currently offered under the brand name GE Countrywide.
