Airtel and Disney join hands to launch ‘Disney Mobile Theatre’

Airtel has tied up with the entertainment brand Disney to launch ‘Disney Mobile Theatre’. This service will facilitate Airtel subscribers to access six Disney animated series in the form of 30-second shots. In addition, subscribers can also download Disney wallpapers, videos, ring tones and games.

Hemant Sachdev, director, marketing and communications, Bharti Airtel, says, “Disney is renowned for its entertaining content and with this initiative, we will enable our customers to enjoy the Disney experience on their mobiles without any location constraint.”

We are empowered by new technology innovations and this has given way to this unique and new way of delivering services when and where the consumer demands.”

The launch of Disney mobile content on Airtel, seemingly, marks Walt Disney’s first mobile carrier distribution deal in India.

Sachin Tendulkar, the brand ambassador for Airtel, who has been keeping off the field due to health reasons, was present at the launch of this new service.
