‘Divya Bhaskar’ has managed to secure the ABC certification for which it had applied earlier in the year
‘Divya Bhaskar’ has secured ABC certification. From January to June 2006, Ahmedabad has got net paid sales of 4,89,861, Vadodara, 1,72,065, Surat, 1,77,028, and Rajkot, 35,447.
The newspaper had applied for the ABC certification early this year. According to the publication, the certification proves its credibility amidst a lot of competition and also strengthens its readers’ belief in it.
Bharat Kapadia, executive director, ‘Divya Bhaskar’, claims that theirs is the only leading publication to have secured the authentication for circulation. He points out that the certification has lent the paper a lot of recognition.
Now, ‘Divya Bhaskar’ is hopeful that a number of advertisers who were reluctant to advertise in the publication earlier because it did not have ABC certification, will now come on board. Kapadia says that the paper will be viewed in a better light by both organisations and clients.
Kapadia is also hopeful that this will, in turn, boost the overall revenue for the publication.
