Pratibha Vinayak is MD, MindShare, Sri Lanka

Vinayak was so far national director, investments, for Unilever at MindShare Fulcrum

Pratibha Vinayak, national director, investments, for Unilever at MindShare Fulcrum, now has a new role to play. She will move to Colombo as managing director, MindShare, Sri Lanka.

Commenting on her new role, Vinayak says, “I look forward to working with the management team which has built MindShare into one of the best agencies in the region and also helped consolidate our strong position in Asia.”

Vinayak (or Pat, as she is better known) carries experience across agencies and the publishing and broadcasting businesses. She spent over a decade with ‘Reader’s Digest’ magazine, managing research and marketing there, before joining JWT to handle the media responsibilities on Unilever under the then newly formed JWT Fulcrum. She spent more than five years at JWT.

Next, she worked with Sony Entertainment Television and Carat Media, before returning to MindShare Fulcrum to manage the Unilever investments in 2004. Vinayak has also served on the technical committees of leading media industry studies.

Over the years, Vinayak and her team have been instrumental in bringing discontinuous trading practices in managing investments to the most demanding clients and also been behind some of the best work of the agency.
