Cyrus Oshidar, senior vice-president, creative and content, MTV India, has resigned from his current position at the organisation. However, his resignation does not terminate his relationship with MTV India; he will continue to work with the organisation on a project basis, consulting on brand solutions and multi-platform communications, among other aspects.
Oshidar has also joined contests2win as a consultant. He will be actively involved in the creative and strategic thinking for contests2win, mobile2win and games2win. Though he will function as a consultant, his role will be a full-fledged, ownership driven role, according to Alok Kejriwal, founder and CEO, contests2win.

“I have had enough of the corporate world,” confesses Oshidar. Talking about his 10 year long association with MTV, he says, “What kept me going over the decade was the fact that MTV is one of the very few brands in the world that can give a person freedom to experiment and redefine the creative space.”
At MTV, Oshidar was instrumental in creating creative properties across spots, vignettes, shows and on-air packaging. Some of these are the old irritated ‘Liftman’, the ‘Chai boy’, the ‘Maalishwaala’, ‘One Tight Slap’, ‘Sorry for Interruption’ and the latest ‘Dharti ke Laal’ campaigns.
Ashish Patil, vice-president and general manager, creative and content, MTV India, will take on Oshidar’s responsibilities.
