Tuhin Mishra will join In-store TV network, TAG Media Network, in the next few weeks, as the senior vice-president sales and marketing. His last designation was general manager, sales, with sports, entertainment and media company IMG/TWI. Mishra will be based in Delhi and will be responsible for the marketing and sales operations of the company in the North, West and the East.
Commenting on his move, he remarks, “With the retail explosion happening, the retail industry is getting more organised and In-store television is clearly becoming the next big media revolution. Tag Media Network operates on a 360 degree approach which is accurate and reaches the consumers at the point when they are in buying mode.”
Prior to IMG, he worked with Turner International for two years where he handled the advertising sales for Cartoon Network and POGO. Before Turner, he was a media planner and was associated for four years with LodeStar Universal (then Universal McCann) and Group M’s MindShare. Some of the clients he worked on during his media planning days include Pepsi, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Nestle.
