Percept launches its tech media services arm, ‘Percept Knorigin’

Percept has launched ‘Percept Knorigin’ – a tech media and service provider to strengthen its database of media and marketing offerings. This new business boasts of an initial investment of Rs 20 crore.

Percept Knorigin will concentrate on servicing Indian and global clients by supplementing digital media technology like internet, mobile and gaming.

Viraj Malik will head the business as the managing director of Percept Knorigin. Malik has more than 12 years of experience in areas of strategic marketing and business development, in Indian, European and US markets. His last assignment was with Infosys where he was head of the business development segment.

The company plans to set up a delivery facility in Bangalore with offices in Mumbai and Delhi. Percept Knorigin plans on targeting revenues of Rs 4 crore per annum and is estimated to expand to a team of hundred within the next 3 years.

Malik plans to focus on three key areas. The first will be to create IP in digital advertising aggregation and build network of online properties. The second plan in the offing will be to leverage Percept’s content and network to build online and mobile assets.

The third area of focus will be to deliver ROI linked marketing solutions to clients in India, UK and USA for services which will include consulting, creative, operations and procurement. Percept Knorigin will examine making investments for providing these services and solutions.

Percept Knorigin will have its headquarters located at Bangalore.
