Malik to handle to handle western and southern regions for the Patrika Group
Rajasthan Patrika has appointed Anil Malik assistant vice-president, marketing. The post was created recently and Malik will be working from the Mumbai office of the publication.
He will be responsible for handling the Western and Southern regions for the Patrika Group, encompassing the entire gamut of media max solutions including print, radio, web portal and events.
With about 15 years of experience in the print media industry, Malik has worked with three major print media organisations in India. He was Western region head of Mint. He has also worked as general manager, marketing, Hindustan Times Media (Hindustan Times, Hindustan and Mint) and has been associated with the Times of India (Maharashtra Times) and the Indian Express Group (Indian Express and Loksatta).

Sharing his plans for the group, he says, “With the group's entry into Indore and Bhopal, our first priority will be to provide marketing solutions to our clients in Madhya Pradesh while we continue to give them media propositions in Rajasthan.”
Malik holds a Masters degree in marketing management and a diploma in marketing management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
He believes in taking each day as it comes, and according to him, that is why he hasn't faced any serious professional challenge in his entire career.
In an official communiqué, Arvind Kalia, national head, marketing, Patrika Group, says, “It is a new position we have created as the group has ambitious plans to consolidate its leadership team and Anil's rich experience in telecom, radio, print and the Internet space will certainly be an asset for us.”
The Patrika Group is a multi media house with various divisions including print, radio (FM Tadka), outdoor advertising solutions (Planet Outdoor), yellow pages (Find It), Patrika TV, digital media and events.
