Sony's relative share has moved up from 7 per cent in Week 24 to 8 per cent in Week 25
There are two at the top, as per the latest data from TAM Media Research on the Hindi general entertainment genre. STAR Plus and Colors are at par, with a relative share of 21 per cent each (C&S, 4+, HSM). STAR Plus, which has garnered 242 GRPs in Week 25, has lost 2 percentage points; while Colors has added a few GRPs.
Zee has maintained its No. 3 position this week, with a 19 per cent relative share of the GEC pie. The channel has garnered 227 GRPs in Week 25.
NDTV Imagine, too, remains unshaken at No. 4 with 104 GRPs. The channel holds a 9 per cent share.
Sony, at No. 5 with a relative channel share of 8 per cent, seems to be inching closer to Imagine. In Week 25, the gap between the two is 6 GRPs. Sony's sister channel, SAB is at No. 6, with a 6 per cent share.
STAR One, which is at No. 7, has managed to get a 5 per cent share, while DD1 retains its 4 per cent share. This is followed by Sahara One at No. 9, which holds a 3 per cent share. Among the other channels, STAR Utsav and 9X have 2 per cent share each; while Real has 1 per cent share.
The list of Top 10 most watched programmes on Hindi GECs is led by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which has recorded a TVR of 6.7. Bidaai comes second with a TVR of 5.4. Balika Vadhu is the third most popular soap and has recorded a TVR of 4.7.
Zee's Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo is at No. 4 in Week 25, with a TVR of 4.3. At No. 5 is Colors' Uttaran, which fetched a TVR of 3.9.
The other top programmes in Week 25 are: Chhoti Bahu, Betiyaan Ghar Ki Lakshmi and Saregamapa Li'l Champs-09 on Zee; Na Aana Is Des Laado on Colors and Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat on STAR Plus.
