With an initial print run of 10,000 copies, the magazine has a cover price of Rs 150. The cover story of the 68-page inaugural issue focuses on a seven-step guide to becoming a CIO. The new offering has around 30 per cent ad ratio in the inaugural issue.

Talking about IT Next, Pramath Raj Sinha, founder and managing director, 9.9 Mediaworx, says, "This magazine aims to provide senior IT managers in the country with information on technology strategies, best practices and innovations for improving enterprise IT infrastructure. The magazine will try to empower the IT managers about the latest management practices, career development methods and technology issues."

He adds that prior to launching the magazine; the group conducted a survey amongst 100 IT managers across the country to identify their information needs. "The findings showed that though IT managers, who desire to become CIOs, have information on the latest technology, but they are not up-to-date with management strategies. We intend to provide information on people, processes and technologies that will help these senior IT professionals succeed in their professional careers."

The magazine will cover topics related to technology, as well as management and strategy. Regular columns, such as The Big Q, Tech Talk, Insight and How-To, would focus on IT related problems. Alongside, topics pertaining to personal development would be covered in columns such as 'The 15-Minute Manager', which will deal with IT strategy and management, business skills, education, training, workforce trends and health of IT managers.

The print version of the magazine is being supported by the digital medium through www.itnext.in.
