The account size is upwards of Rs 50 crore
Religare Enterprises has appointed Lintas Media Group (LMG) as its media AoR. The agency won the business in a three-step multi-agency process, which involved seven agencies. The account size is estimated to be above Rs 50 crore.
Confirming the development, Subhrangshu Neogi, director - brand and corporate communications, Religare Enterprises Limited reveals that apart from LMG, other agencies that took part in the pitch include GroupM's Maxus, Mediacom, Madison, Starcom, and Lodestar.
The pitch was based on a corporate campaign. Besides that campaign, LMG will look after the media for the group's various businesses, which include asset management, wealth management, health insurance, equity and commodity broking, investment banking, lending services, private equity and venture capital.
The incumbent agency on the business is NAC Advertising. Roshan Chowdhry, managing director of the agency, will, however, continue to play an advisory role for the group, in his individual capacity.
Sudha Natrajan, president and chief operating officer, LMG, says, "We look forward to the challenge of the brand and are confident that with our passion and innovative ideas, we will be able to take the brand to new heights."
A few months ago, Religare had appointed Ogilvy as its creative agency. The public relations and media relations mandate was given to LinOpinion.
