The Nashik edition has been launched post a two-phase survey. In Phase 1, the group did a door-to-door survey to collate readers' feedback, and their views on content, design and expectations from a local daily. Over 1.84 lakh units, including households and commercial establishments were covered as part of the pre-launch surveys.

In Phase 2, the group visited households in the city to book orders and generate subscriptions. According to company officials, "Significant emphasis was given on market research, team development, grooming, and intensive training for executives for the door-to-door survey, which covered various communication aspects such as introduction, presentation, personality grooming, discussion techniques, conducting research, and selling skills."

Some of the findings of the survey revealed that 92 per cent of the respondents want a non-aligned, independent and unbiased newspaper.

To promote the launch of Divya Marathi in Nashik, the group launched a branding campaign and announced the progress of the survey at various stages.

The group had launched the first edition of Dainik Divya Marathi from Aurangabad, on May 28, making it the DB Group's 60th edition. According to sources, the print run for the first day of the Aurangabad edition was 87,000 copies.
