Starcom Worldwide appoints Rajendra Dwivedi as VP
Dwivedi's responsibility will involve looking after existing clients, consolidating the agency's businesses and acquiring new ones.
Starcom Worldwide has roped in Rajendra Dwivedi as vice-president. Dwivedi, who will be based in Mumbai, will report to Mallikarjunadas C R, chief executive officer, Starcom MediaVest Group India. Earlier, Dwivedi was general manager, Maxus Mumbai.
Along with the other branch heads of Starcom Worldwide and MediaVest Worldwide, as well as the heads of insights and research, digital and business impact functions, Dwivedi will also be a part of the National Leadership Team at Starcom MediaVest Group India.
In an official communiqué, Mallikarjunadas C R says, "He has proven himself as a leader, with a background in business development and client relationship management."
Dwivedi is an alumnus of Gujarat University. He has more than a decade's experience in the media industry and has earlier worked with various agencies such as Mudra Communications, Universal McCann (now Lodestar Universal), SureWaves and GroupM, followed by his most recent role in Maxus Mumbai.
