Den Networks promotes S N Sharma as CEO

Prior to this promotion, Sharma was president, operations, at Den.

India's largest MSO, Den Networks, has promoted S N Sharma as chief executive officer (CEO) with immediate effect. Prior to this promotion, Sharma was president, operations, at Den.

Sharma holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from Kurukshetra University, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the same university. He joined Den in July 2007, and has more than 23 years of experience in the media industry.

He has earlier worked as president, northern region of Hathway Cable and Datacom Private Limited; he was also vice-president, Indusind Media and Communications.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Ghulam Azhar, president, strategy and business development, Den Networks has been promoted as chief operating officer (COO).

Azhar holds a Master's degree in Finance and Control. He has more than 15 years of varied experience and expertise in strategic and financial planning, fund raising, capital structuring, mergers and acquisitions. His experience in media sector operations has been instrumental in establishing Den as one of the leading cable service providers in the country.
