The channel will go live on November 17 in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh.

The Madhya Pradesh-based Sai Prakash Group is set to launch a 24-hour Hindi news channel Khabar Bharti. The launch is scheduled for November 17. Khabar Bharti will be initially available in three states, namely Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. This is the first time that the Sai Prakash Group will be venturing into the media industry. Currently, the group businesses run across telecommunications, organic farming, and financial services sectors.
Besides news, there will be a few general entertainment shows available on the channel such as the morning show Zindagi Subha Subha, Apradh, a crime show, Khabar Talkies, which is a show based on showbiz, Vikas Nama, a series based on development, Shaharnama, a city guide, Janani, which deals with issues concerning women, Prabhu Tero Naam, a devotional show, and the inspirational show Ye Hausla.
Pushpendra Singh Beghal, founder, Sai Prakash Group, says, "We will venture into the media industry with a vision that Khabar Bharti will become India's No. 1 news channel to cover the Hindi-belt of India. The channel has an interesting line-up of programmes, and it will showcase the facts in an honest and unbiased style."
Beginning with an expected connectivity of six–seven million homes when launched, Khabar Bharti aims to reach out to 30 million homes.
