The agency won the account after a multi-agency pitch that took place six weeks ago. The account size is estimated at Rs 100 crore.

Textile, apparel and fashion retailer Raymond has appointed Madison Media as its media agency of record (AoR). Madison will be responsible for the entire media mandate including digital and out of home (OOH) for all Raymond group brands.

The agency won the account following a multi-agency pitch that took place six weeks ago and saw participation of agencies such as GroupM and Lodestar UM.

The account size is estimated at Rs 100 crore and it will be serviced by the agency's Mumbai office. The incumbent agency on the business was R K Swamy BBDO.

Madison Media recently won accounts including Epic Channel, Maxx Mobile, McCain Foods, Ruchi Soya, Max India's corporate account, Café Coffee Day, Radikal Rice and Crompton Greaves.

Incorporated in 1925, Raymond transformed itself from being an Indian textile major to a global conglomerate. In addition to its successes in fabrics, the group today comprises diverse businesses including branded apparel, denim, cosmetics and toiletries, engineering tools and hardware, auto components and prophylactics in national and international markets.
