Clubs and lounges to promote 9XM's new show

The channel ropes in DJ Chetas for its new show 'House of Dance'. Starting December 20, it will air every Friday and Saturday at 10 pm, for two hours.

9XM, the flagship Bollywood music channel from 9X Media, has collaborated with DJ Chetas to launch a bollywood dance music show titled '9XM House Of Dance'.

The two-hour music block of Bollywood Mash-ups/ remixes will be aired on the channel every Friday and Saturday from 10 pm to 12 midnight, starting December 20.

In order to promote the show, the channel has tied up with 100 club, lounges, bars across Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Pune, Kolkatta, Jaipur, Goa, Indore and Bhopal where '9XM House of Dance' will be streamed live along with the on-air launch on Saturday.

This on-going promotional event will take place once in a month for six months. Every month in one of the cities, the channel will take DJ Chetas to perform live for the music lovers. To start with, 9XM has partnered with Club Royalty in Mumbai where DJ Chetas will perform live for dance music lovers to experience the House of Dance property in their city.

Talking about '9XM House of Dance', Amar Tidke, chief programming officer, 9X Media, says, "Bollywood Music and Electronic Dance Music are most popular music genres in the current times. In night clubs, majority of the people love Bollywood music and the youth in particular love the Electronic Dance Music. Keeping this trend in mind, 9XM has collaborated with the best Bollywood DJ of India, to launch an exclusive music block of Bollywood dance music. Offering the viewers the best party experience in the luxury of their homes, 9XM House Of Dance will be a never-before-seen sound and visual experience. The special 9XM House of Dance playlist created by DJ Chetas will ensure that Friday and Saturday nights are no longer the same."

The channel has partnered with Tseries and Sony Music for the rights of the songs to be played in the events.

According to Kapil Sharma, marketing head, 9XM, the show will be promored across print, on-ground and radio. "We have partnered with Red FM wherein we are not only running spots to promote the show. We are also running a contest, winners of which will get a chance to be a part of one of the on-ground events. They will win passes to enter the clubs in one of the clubs mentioned."

Sharma shared that the channel has also released an online app, for android users and subsequently for iOS users where the party goers can stream the '9XM House Of Dance Party' music live on their mobile devices. The channel has created a dedicated website,, for the show as well.
