Sources confirm that Kartik Sharma will lead Omnicom Media India as chief executive officer. He will be supported by Amardeep Singh as chief operating officer and Shashi Sinha as strategic advisor for India.

The appointment comes a day after Omnicom retired the IPG brands and moved its six media agencies into a single platform: OMD, PHD, Hearts and Science, UM, Initiative and Mediahub.
UM, Initiative and Mediahub were part of IPG Mediabrands but will now operate within Omnicom Media.
