Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath has invested in One Hand Clap, the creative agency founded by Aakash Shah and Naveed Manakkodan, both alumni of the now-dissolved Mumbai-based popular comedy collective All India Bakchod (AIB). The announcement was made through Shah’s Instagram post, which offered a nostalgic look back on the company's journey while celebrating this new milestone.

“Thank you for seeking us out. Here’s to the next decade of building killer stuff together,” Shah wrote, confirming Kamath’s involvement and support as the agency gears up for its next phase of growth.

Tracing One Hand Clap’s roots to a decade-long hustle in the Indian content and advertising landscape, Shah’s post chronicles key milestones—ranging from viral videos like Dank Irrfan to the eventual founding of One Hand Clap in 2019.

Since its founding, One Hand Clap has been working to build a name for itself by nailing brand storytelling on social media.

The agency executed the much-talked-about Animal parody campaign for e-cycle brand Emotorad featuring MS Dhoni, showcasing its flair for culturally resonant, high-impact content. Today, One Hand Clap has grown to a 85-member team and boasts a robust client roster including Swiggy, BGMI, Netflix, CoinDCX, and Bajaj Chetak, among many others.

The announcement of Kamath’s investment signals a new chapter for One Hand Clap. With fresh capital and a trusted backer, the agency appears poised to further scale its creative and production capabilities.

Kamath, known for supporting bold, unconventional ideas across sectors, adds yet another promising venture to his growing portfolio. His investment in One Hand Clap joins a growing list of strategic and creative partnerships in the Indian startup space.
