Good Game onboards Rishabh Pant as global ambassador

Good Game will debut in India through an OTT / Broadcast Partner and Good Game's YouTube channel, supported by Indian and Global watch parties across various social media platforms.

Good Game Group Inc. has announced Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant as the global brand ambassador for Good Game, a new global gaming reality show set to launch in India. The show combines elements of reality TV and competitive gaming to identify a global gaming celebrity. The company plans to invest up to Rs. 100 crore annually in the show and has partnered with Spunnge Media Private Limited for its rollout in India.

Good Game will debut in India through an OTT / Broadcast Partner and Good Game's YouTube channel, supported by Indian and Global watch parties across various social media platforms. The company is currently inviting interest for sponsorships and partnerships from brands looking to make in-roads into the world of Gen Z through the pioneering Good Game format which is a unique intersection of pop culture, gaming and entertainment. 

Commenting on his association with Good Game, Rishabh Pant, Ace Indian Cricketer and youth icon added, “I am pleased to associate with Good Game, who are known for their exciting and pioneering work. I am looking forward to the show and hope to have fun during this journey. I wish the team all the best  for their global rollout starting with India”.

Good Game is a competitive reality TV show designed for gamers, social media creators, and entertainers. Contestants will face challenges across gaming, entertainment, business, and promotion to compete for the title of global entertainment talent. The winner of the India edition will receive $100,000 in cash and prizes and a chance to compete in Good Game APAC. The show will feature judges from gaming, sports, and entertainment. It follows an 'as-live' format—shot, edited, and released in near real-time—allowing content to stay current while maintaining the production quality of a pre-recorded show.

“The global gaming industry has surpassed 3.3 billion players, and generates more revenue than movies and TV combined. Good Game looks to tell the stories of the entertainers driving the rise of this phenomenon and bring gaming closer to the masses. The Good Game show will assess contestants on skills needed both in gaming and mainstream entertainment. This includes performing in live and recorded formats, creating viral social media content, understanding the business side of entertainment, and building community engagement. The show's goal is to help both experienced and new gaming creators grow their careers beyond gaming and reach wider audiences across different entertainment platforms.
