Sen had been with Jagran Engage ever since its inception in early 2006. He will join Stroer Media as its country head and CEO
Indrajit Sen, COO and business head, Jagran Engage, has called it a day there. He has joined Stroer Media, the German major in the outdoor media space, as country head and CEO. Stroer Media is currently in the midst of formally launching operations in India; in a sense, Sen will help steer the company in India from scratch.

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Sen says, “It is an opportunity to work with a global major in the outdoor space, and Stroer is among the top five players globally.”
Furthermore, he adds, “Stroer is a company dedicated to the outdoor space.” As opposed to that, Jagran Engage is the OOH unit of the larger Jagran Prakashan Group. Sen was a key contributor in setting it up.
Prior to Jagran Engage, Sen was with Primesite, the OOH arm of the Mudra Group.
Sen is an MMS from BITS, Pilani, and has been in the media space since 1990 – first as regional head of The Times of India Group’s response department for about 10 years, followed by six years as president, Primesite.
In early 2006, he started Jagran Engage, the OOH Media Solutions division of the Jagran Prakashan Group, as its COO and business head. The experience gave Sen a deeper understanding of the media business from both sellers’ and buyers’ points of view. Prior to these stints, Sen has been in brand marketing and sales in various categories and has had a short stint in international marketing as well, in a career that spans a total of about 31 years.
