Vikas Bhambri, who had quit TDI International recently, has now joined Mudra Max as senior vice-president. Though the nitty-gritty of his responsibilities is still being chalked out, he will focus on strengthening the agency's outdoor business.

Currently, the agency has three outdoor outfits, namely Primesite, StreetSmart and Clear Channel Mudra, which is a joint venture with Clear Channel Outdoor.

Commenting on his new role, Bhambri says, "I am excited to be part of the Mudra Max group. According to me, it is the only organisation today that provides a platform, where all the client's needs can be addressed under a single roof. It has the most creditable team of professionals in the industry; and I am happy to be part of this elite team."

Discussing the appointment, Mandeep Malhotra, senior vice-president, Mudra Max says, "Vikas comes in at a time when we are getting ready to chart a new course. He will be our key resource in our pursuit of providing business solutions to our clients through OOH. I am confident of his capability of taking outdoor to the next level of professional excellence."

Bhambri holds a degree in engineering and has over 15 years of media experience. Prior to joining TDI International in 2008, he worked with some of the larger organisations in the outdoor business, such as Clear Channel, JCDecaux, and OAP. His first brush with the outdoor industry was in 1999, when he joined MetroMedia Technologies (MMT), a visual communications company specialising in billboard printing, banners and building wraps, and stadium and arena graphics.
