Chakravorty has 16 years' experience in sales and account management
Starcom MediaVest Group India has promoted Kaushik Chakravorty as group chief operating officer - out of home. This is a newly created position within the group.
Chakravorty will be responsible for managing the operations of the group's OOH brands, Navia and Vector. He will work closely with Sanjay Shah, who is the CEO of Navia and Vector. Chakravorty will report to Ravi Kiran, CEO, South Asia for Starcom MediaVest Group.
Speaking on his elevation, Kiran says, "Chakravorty's passion for product, people and process is well known. He leads a very dedicated and client-focused team. I am confident that he will strengthen the managerial bandwidth substantially at Navia and Vector."
Chakravorty says, "This new role helps in increasing the existing collaboration within our business. I look forward to the challenges it brings, in addition to my role at Enhance."
Chakravorty has over 16 years' experience in sales, market development, client servicing and account management, serving in senior and top management positions.
Prior to Starcom, he was with Primesite, the OOH division of Mudra Communications, where he served as general manager. In the past, he has also worked with The Times of India Group and 3M India.
