Informing afaqs! about his resignation, Ambrose says, "March 15 was my last day at the organisation. I haven't decided on my next move yet, and am taking a month off to think about it. However, it will be either in activation or OOH."

Ambrose, who joined Mudra Max in August 2008, was head of integration and new initiatives. Later, he went on to head and turn around Kidstuff in 2009, and then moved to head StreetSmart in March 2010.

He joined Ogilvy in 2003 as head of Landscape, eventually moving on to head the North business for OgilvyAction. He is credited with having turned around the OgilvyAction office in the North. In the very first year itself, the Delhi office was awarded the Activation Office of the Year.

Ambrose has also had stints at Bharti Airtel and Selvel Vantage, where he worked for approximately five years each.

On being quizzed about Ambrose's successor at the division, Mandeep Malhotra, president, Mudra Max OOH services, tells afaqs!, "We haven't begun our search yet. For now, I will be looking directly into StreetSmart's operations."

For the record, Mudra Max's OOH units include Primesite, StreetSmart and Clear Channel Mudra.
