Hemanth Shah promoted as MD, Aaren Initiative

Lintas Media Group has promoted Hemanth Shah as managing director of Aaren Initiative, its out-of-home (OOH) division. Additionally, Shah will continue as president, OOH Initiatives, Lintas Media Group.

Speaking on the promotion, Lynn de Souza, chairman and CEO, Lintas Media Group and chairman, Aaren Initiative, says, "Shah is a highly knowledgeable veteran in the OOH space and has brought in many new learnings and important businesses since he joined Lintas Media Group, some months ago. This appointment and additional responsibility is a reflection of his capability and potential."

Says Shah, "As a team, the company has the potential to make a huge difference to the OOH landscape in the country, and I am sure, clients and media partners alike are experiencing the difference in their interactions with us in these past few months. The journey ahead is both exciting and promising."

An MBA in marketing, Shah has over 20 years of work experience, of which 15 years have been spent in the OOH industry. Prior to joining Lintas, he was executive vice-president and revenue head, Times OOH, the out-of-home arm of Times Innovative Media. At Times OOH, Shah played a key role in developing relationships, forging alliances and building teams and processes to acquire and grow sustainable business. He has held various positions in diverse organisations, which include Tata Press, Mudra Group, Alban Communications (in London and Mumbai), Hansa Research, and Future Group.
