Goibibo.com: Reach out for the stars

The travel portal decided to give a special treatment to a few of its customers. At some major airports, a few select passengers will be offered a chauffeur-driven car to take them to the final destination.

Goibibo.com, the online travel website, has started an activation that provides a 'Goibibo Superstar' personalised service to select customers. Being carried out at some leading airports in the country, the concept is to offer service to customers and make them realise that every passenger is special for Goibibo.

To get the special treatment, passengers need to book a ticket with Goibibo.com and register on the Goibibo Superstar page by filling up their details. On a daily basis, Goibibo will select hundreds of its customers and inform the lucky customers about the special initiative. Accordingly, the names of the lucky customers will be displayed on the Goibibo website and they will be contacted at least 24 hours prior to their travel.

As soon as the respective passengers arrive at the airport, they will be welcomed by Goibibo hostesses holding their name placards. The passengers will also get a chauffeur-driven car to take them to the final destination at no extra cost.

In an official communiqué, the Goibibo.com spokesperson says, "We believe in investing in our traveller rather than giving large sums of money to Bollywood stars as endorsement fee. The value proposition of Goibibo.com lies in speed, simplicity and strong customer service. We provide a user-friendly environment with a clean, clear and fast user interface, where customers are greeted with the best services. Customers are the real brand ambassadors for Goibibo.com and ought to be treated as super stars."

The ongoing activation started on April 18 and will continue for one month in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru airports.
