Cartoon Network Enterprises and PepperScript to Launch Comic Books
The comics, called Remix, are available for pre-order and will be sold exclusively through Amazon.in.
Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE), the licensing and merchandising division of Turner International India, has partnered with PepperScript Publishers to launch Cartoon Network comic books based on their classic franchises.
Targeted at teenagers, these comics aim to bring back fond memories of their childhood where these characters used to be an important part of their TV time. Says Sanchit Goel of PepperScript, "PepperScript Comics is proud to associate with Cartoon Network Enterprises to bring back evergreen cartoons and create nostalgia for that genre of Indian audience who once used to love these characters."
Siddharth Jain, MD, South Asia, Turner International India adds, "Over the years, Cartoon Network has become synonymous with being the ultimate destination for the best cartoons. By partnering with PepperScript to create comic books based on our classic franchises, we hope to reconnect with teens and adults who were avid consumers of our '90s shows."
