Zee Media ropes in Tarun Katial as CEO - ZEE5 India

In an attempt to further strengthen Zee5, its digital arm, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has roped in Tarun Katial as chief executive officer. Katial will report to Amit Goenka, chief executive officer - International Broadcasting Business and Zee5 Global.

Archana Anand, chief business officer, Zee5, will report to Katial for the Zee5 India Business Operations and to Amit Goenka for the Zee5 Global Operations. The Business Development, Customer Acquisition, User Engagement & Retention, and Performance Marketing teams of Zee5 India will report to Anand.

Manish Aggarwal, chief marketing officer - digital, will also report to Katial for Marketing Operations (Brand and Digital) of Zee5 India and to Goenka for Global Digital Marketing Operations. Siddharth Narula, chief revenue officer - Digital India, will be reporting to Katial as well, specifically for Zee5 India Sales and to Goenka for Global Social, Global Indirect Sales and India Digital Sales other than Zee5 India Sales functions.

Zee5 is a video on demand website run by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited. It was launched in India on February 14, 2018, with content in 12 languages.
