Levi’s creates music video to take #IShapeMyWorld campaign forward

Levi’s unveils the fifth edition of their ‘I Shape My World’ campaign. The music video stars personalities like Malini Agarwal, Kubbra Sait, Sandhya Menon and Neena Gupta; it was sang by Anushqa Sahaney and features verses by rapper Hard Kaur. Previous editions of the ‘I Shape My Wolrd’ campaign sees Hard Kaur, Swara Bhasker, and Anjali Lama make a comeback.

Meeta Bharvani, Director Marketing, Levi’s India says, “The #IShapeMyWorld campaign is driven by the insight that in a world that still tries to restrain women from achieving their potential by fueling insecurities about themselves; whether it is about her ‘body’ or her ‘being’; there are an increasing number of stories of women who took their chances and beat the odds. During the past 4 seasons of #ISMW, we drove inspiring stories of fearless women. This season we celebrate the power of the collective through women who are authentic, original and purposeful, all qualities that are inherent to the Levi’s brand”.

The video features a line-up of female personalities from different industries such as entertainment, fashion, sports, journalism and social change to celebrate the spirit of women empowerment. The campaign features Swara Bhasker, Hard Kaur, Anjali Lama, Neena Gupta, Kubbra Sait, Sandhya Menon, Malini Agarwal, Natasha Noel, Sonal Giani, Kanchan Daniel, Gurmehar Kaur, Kaneez Surka, Srishti Dixit, Prashasti Singh, Anushqa Sahaney, Deepti Asthana, Toshada Uma and the Singh Sisters.

As part of the previous editions of the #IShapeMyWorld campaign, Levi’s has also celebrated figures like India's first and youngest village Sarpanch with an MBA degree, Chhavi Rajawat, hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani, Anjali Lama, India’s first transgender model, standup comedian Mallika Dua, actor Huma Qureshi, VJ Bani J, actress Ileana D’Cruz and contemporary dancer Shakti Mohan.

The latest video was released on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2019.
