Vistara's Solomon Wheeler moves on

Solomon Wheeler, vice president - head Marketing and Loyalty at Vistara has moved on from the domestic airline company. The news was confirmed to afaqs! by Wheeler. “It is due to personal reasons that I decided to move on. I have already served my notice period,” Wheeler said.

Although his next destination is unconfirmed, Wheeler’s next role might be as an entrepreneur. “There are developments on my personal front. I am looking at a few options but it’s not closed yet,” he added.

In his last role, he was vice president – head Marketing and Communications with Lava mobiles. Prior to this he was head of brand and marketing across India, SAARC and UAE at Spice Jet. Prior to Spice Jet, he worked at Airtel as part of the marketing team in Delhi.

He has spent initial years of his career as an advertising professional with leading agencies such as Leo Burnett, Euro RSCG and Cheil Communications.
