Britannia names ex-Birla Opus head Rakshit Hargave as CEO

Britannia Industries has appointed Rakshit Hargave, former CEO of Birla Opus, as its new chief executive. He succeeds Rajneet Kohli, who stepped down in March this year.

A marketing veteran, Hargave brings over two decades of leadership experience across FMCG, retail, and banking. Before his four-year stint at Birla Opus, he spent 11 years with NIVEA’s parent company, Beiersdorf. He has also led Lakme in India as COO and held roles at Domino’s, ABN Amro Bank, Nestlé, and Tata Motors.
