NDTV has recently announced the addition of three editorial professionals to its NDTV India newsroom — Subhankar Mishra, Meenakshi Kandwal, and Malika Malhotra.
Each has experience in areas such as digital journalism, anchoring, and field reporting.
Subhankar Mishra has over 30 million followers across platforms. He is known for on-ground reporting and strong reach in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, often covering areas with limited national attention.
Meenakshi Kandwal has over a decade of experience in broadcast journalism. She has covered a range of stories, including live disasters and field reports, with a focus on clear and informed reporting.
Malika Malhotra contributes to the editorial team with long-format field reports. She has covered the farmer protests at Singhu and follow-up reporting in Joshimath, focusing on stories beyond the immediate news cycle.
Commenting on the new additions, Rahul Kanwal, CEO and editor-in-chief of NDTV, said, “Each of them brings something critical to the newsroom — Subhankar Mishra’s digital-first strength, Meenakshi Kandwal’s editorial steadiness, and Malika Malhotra’s commitment to field reporting. They are not chasing headlines; they are building trust. That’s the direction we are taking.”
