Phoenix Group Global launches Zuri Hotels & Resorts

Phoenix Group Global, the owners and promoters of luxury resorts in India, Europe and Africa announced the launch of their own brand of luxury hotels – Zuri Hotels & Resorts. This landmark announcement marks a significant step in the company’s growth plans. All future properties will come under Zuri Hotels & Resorts.

Land for the Zuri property in Chennai will be finalized by the year end and the investment for the property will be around Rs 170- Rs 200 crores. Phoenix Group is also sourcing around 150 acres of land near the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border for their floriculture business at an investment of around Rs 25 crores.

Having been in the hospitality industry for over a decade, we felt that it was time for us to establish ourselves as a strong player in this industry with our own brand of hotels.”

As part of Zuri Hotels & Resorts expansion, the first property under this brand – The Zuri Whitefield (Bengaluru) will open its doors to guests in January 09. The Zuri, Whitefield (Bengaluru) will have 162 rooms (2 Presidential Suites and 4 Executive Suites), 5 F&B options including an Italian restaurant, a Pan-Asian restaurant ,Coffee shop and a bar as well as a heated swimming pool and gymnasium. The hotel also provides various banqueting and conferencing facilities.
