Residents of Delhi can now pay their property taxes from their homes and offices bidding adieu to long queues, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has facilitated online payment of property taxes with ItzCash Card. Consumers now have the option to log on to www.mcdpropertytax.in and pay property taxes using an ItzCash Card,

With this service ItzCash and MCD envisage to bring convenience to the end user, who otherwise had to physically go to the payment counter. This facility will also help those who have a property in Delhi but do not stay in the state. Now they can pay their taxes from anywhere in the country using an ItzCash card or by going to any ItzCash World outlet across the country.

Speaking on the tie-up, Mr. Naveen Surya, MD, ItzCash Card Ltd. said, “With this facility for online payment of property tax in partnership with MCD, ItzCash Card aims to bring change in the lives of people by bringing a larger section of population closer to the benefits of e-transactions. This year we will see at least Rs 50 crore worth of online transactions through this alliance”

The tie-up with ItzCash Card assures that the property tax payers who want to pay their taxes online have the option of either paying the property tax on his own using an ItzCash Card or by visiting any of 1500 ItzCash World outlets spread across the city, which will help online payment of property taxes. The citizen can log on to www.itzcash.com to locate the nearest ItzCash world outlet. ItzCash has also set up payment kiosks at MCD regional offices where one can make payments in cash.
