Florida's Natural Growers the largest citrus cooperative in the state of Florida and the second largest orange juice producer in the USA is all set to enter the Indian Market.
The company will market its products under the brand name Fresh & Natural in India. The product line includes the variety like Original Orange, Home-Squeezed-Style Orange, Growers Style Orange, and Orange Juice plus Calcium with Added Vitamin C, Ruby Red and many more, which are available at selective outlets in Mumbai, India.
The products are just like fresh-squeezed juice with no water, sugar, or preservatives added, ultimately resulting into 100 percent pure premium quality pasteurized juice.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Rajan Warrier- MD- Fresh N Natural Foods India Pvt Ltd, said "The Indian FMCG sector with a market size of US$13.1 billion is the fourth largest sector in the world and is expected to grow in multiples in near future.. The shift in the consumer behaviour towards the health conscious parameter will give a solid boost for our product acceptance. We foresee immense possibilities for growth here, and if we are able to give our consumers value for their money, we are sure of higher growth in future."
The Company comprises 13 grower organizations that represent more than 1,000 farmers owning more than 50,000 acres of fine citrus groves in the heart of central Florida. The record $605 million in sales included an average of one million cases of juice or about three million gallons boxed and shipped per week and 23 million cases of citrus processed in year 1999-2000.
