Millions and millions of people across the world take the day to honor their mothers, to thank them for giving them life, for raising them, for being their constant support, and for being their mother.

West Delhi based 32 year old Rahul Suri lost his mother five years back, found the process of dealing with the death gruelling –on both practical and emotional level. He kept on thinking to give a different type of obituary to keep her memory live and give her tribute.

With increased use of internet technologies and social networking he thought of initiating a social networking site www.wwtribute.com, a digital after life website not for himself and his mother but lakhs of people have lost their near and dear ones.

The mother’s day is meant as a day to thank all mothers. To thank them for their love, their support, and for, quite simply, being a mother. So this Sunday, on Mother's Day, show your mother the love she deserves.

“The initial response has been tremendous as Social media represents low-cost tools that are used to combine technology and social interaction with the use of words Pictures & Videos, it’s a forum where friends and family can come together to remember someone who has passed. wwtribute has been set up to create a place that visitors can gather and remember the lives of the people they love most; a place where visitors know that their loved ones will be treated with respect and where their memory will be maintained forever." Said Mr Rahul Suri , founder of the portal.

wwtribute allows users to create a customizable homepage and invite friends and family to share stories, upload photos, videos and sign a guestbook. The site is free (unlike the exorbitant fees some newspapers charge to print an obituary). You can also start a project in someone's honor via the site and gather donations to a charitable cause to be made in their name.

“This portal will also help the parents tell their future generations about the wonderful people you once knew and who are responsible for the genes that they now possess”” said Mr Suri.

www.wwtribute.com is the first social networking site in the world which helps you to preserve your Past for your Future generations. It is a Facebook for Departed Souls. It has facility to connect with Facebook directly. One can enter by putting the facebook username and password. One can create the Profiles of your departed souls, Invite Friends & Relatives, Make Comments, Upload Pictures / Videos and also Tag Pictures / Videos.

“The most surprising part is the maximum response on the portal has come from US not India ,which has more close family network. Another interesting factor is that Apple founder Steve job is the most remembered man on the portal apart from the family members. I hope that in the coming days more Indians will join the portal to remember their dear and near one’s “ said Suri.

“At present the upgradation and technical support for the portal is being provided by my friend Mr. Puneet Gupta who heads an IT company. We are getting calls from the investors for funding in our venture to take it to the next level.” Said Mr Suri.
