American Airlines launches the Del Express Ticket Service

American Airlines, the world’s largest airline, today announced the launch of the DEL EXPRESS TICKET SERVICE exclusively for its passengers flying from India. With the launch of this new service, passengers can now make reservations, purchase tickets, make changes, book AAdvantage awards and process many other transactions through just a single telephone call to American Airlines toll free number 1800-180-7300 or 011-23416930 (local charges applicable). The new service is designed to offer greater convenience and saving of valuable time to passengers of American Airlines.

As a part of the new service, all the passengers need to do is call the American Airlines reservations number, provide details of their travel preferences and their credit card number. The American Airlines representative will confirm the passenger’s reservation, issue the tickets and mail or fax their travel itinerary (valid for travel) without them having to step out of their home or office. Passengers flying from India can also visit the American Airlines ticket offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore or Chennai for their travel and ticketing requirements

American Airlines launched its non-stop flight from Delhi-Chicago in November 2005. The 16-hour non-stop flight has significantly reduced the travel time, from the former average travel time of over 20 hours, while also helping avoid the inconvenience associated with a stopover flight.

Through its hub at O’Hare airport in Chicago, American Airlines offers unparalleled connectivity to passengers from India, who can connect to 125 cities including Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Columbus, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Miami, New York, Montreal, Orlando, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Raleigh / Durham, Washington and Toronto.
