TNT introduces special services for students applying overseas

TNT India Pvt. Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of TPG N V, the global mail, express and logistics company, offers TNT Scholar Pak - an express delivery service for students applying overseas. TNT Scholar pack offers to send applications and other testimonials to Schools and Universities overseas. Applications and Testimonials sent through TNT Scholar Pak will reach Universities in Europe within 1-2 working days and will take 2-4 working days for delivery to USA, Australia and Canada. TNT Scholar Pak comes with a unified tariff rate across the globe.

The critical factor that enables faster and accurate delivery of TNT Scholar Pak consignments is that the consignments are delivered directly to the University. Most of the service providers and speed post services deliver consignments to the P.O Box numbers mentioned and this will in turn be routed through the local post office network and delivery will take longer. TNT has developed an extensive database of University addresses across Europe, US and other preferred student destinations for its Scholar Pak service.

TNT provides students with an information handbook on Universities, travel/baggage information, a checklist of important documents required and tips on foreign exchange, along with the service.

Students can avail the service by logging on to TNT website http://www.tnt.com/. This allows students to request for pick-ups, check prices and print documentation, all in one easy process.

Students can track/received updates on the movement of their applications through SMS/E-mail/Web tracking. TNT also provides Proactive POD services, which informs students once the delivery is made. In addition to this, students can any time call up TNT customer service for updates.

TNT offers value added services along with TNT Scholar Pak. A 25% reduction on regular tariff has been offered to the parents once the students opt for TNT Scholar Pak Service. Also, students can claim reduction for every 10-th TNT Scholar Pak consignment sent.

An American Express free booklet on Tips for Foreign Travel is also given to all TNT Scholar Pak users.
