Nimbus announces the release of its first Telugu language film

Nimbus announced the release of its first Telugu language film entitled 'Idhi…Ma Ashok Gadi Love Story' ('Our Friend Ashok's Love Story') on the 31st of January 2003. With this, Nimbus has entered the Telugu market in a major way.

The film, which has been directed by Suresh Krissna, is a romantic comedy set against the backdrop of an emotional family drama. The film has Siva Balaji, Kanchi Kaul, Shweta Agarwal and Manoj Bidwai in the main cast. Famed Bollywood music directors Anand-Milind have delivered a memorable musical score in their first Telugu film.

The film, which began filming at the end of September 2002, was shot in one schedule in Hyderabad and Thailand. The principal photography was wrapped up by the end of November.

The Telugu market is currently healthier than some of its other peer industries such as that of Hindi films and Nimbus is looking to become a leading player in this region. Follow-up projects to 'Idhi…Ma Ashok Gadi Love Story' are already in negotiations.
