Rajasthan Patrika to launch 14th edition from Chennai

Rajasthan Patrika plans to launch its fourteenth edition from Chennai on February 1, 2004. After Bangalore, which was launched in 1996, this will be the second edition of Rajasthan Patrika from southern India. Besides Rajasthan, where the daily has 10 editions, Rajasthan Patrika has two editions in Gujarat - from Ahmedabad and Surat.

According to a prepared note from the company, "In these eight years the Bangalore edition of Rajasthan Patrika has come up to the people's expectations by serving as a bridge between north and south. It has, on the one hand, helped in the expansion and use of the Hindi language in the southern states and, on the other hand, thousands of students have benefited in their career pursuit. At the same time, the Hindi-speaking people were provided an opportunity to learn Kannada."
