CHannel [V] launches prank shows starting Fool's Day

Come All Fool's Day, CHannel is up to playing pranks. The music channel is launching a new show - Phone Bhooth - a short-format show that captures the fun and excitement of pulling a phone prank on unsuspecting friends, relatives and some of tinsel town's hottest celebrities. For instance, a leading celebrity might get a call from a journalist impersonator who queries him about his latest 'recipe of Dal Makhani', or an upcoming young star might be asked to audition over the phone for a sizzling 'item number' by a leading actor playing the eager producer. Threading together the phone pranks episodes would be CHannel 's own VJ Gaurav.

Beginning April 1, 2004, the inaugural day's show would be telecast at 10.30 am, 12.30 pm, 3.30 pm, 5.30 pm, 7.30 pm and 9.30 pm. Subsequently, CHannel would telecast the shows every Monday (8.30 pm), Wednesday (10.30 am), Thursday (7.00 pm), Friday (5.30 pm) and Sunday (2.00 pm).
