For viewers across the country who've devoured every single episode of the first three seasons of the cult American teenage drama, OC (The Orange County), it's time to put a red cross against Monday, 11th February on your calendars as the final season (IV) of OC premieres at 9:00 pm on Zee Café.
Commenting on the India premiere of season IV, Neil Chakravarti, Business Head, Zee Café said, The OC has been broadcast in more than 50 countries worldwide since its launch in 2003. In the very year of its launch, the show found its place amongst the most popular dramas on television. In India, the first three seasons of the show have found a distinct audience that identifies with its protagonists. We look forward to the excitement this final season will generate
The O.C. originally aired in the US between 2003 and 2007, running a total of four seasons. The series, created by Josh Schwartz (his other recent series being Gossip Girl, also currently on Zee Café), focuses on the life of Ryan Atwood, a troubled teenager from a broken home who is adopted by the wealthy and philanthropic Sandy and Kirsten Cohen. Ryan and his surrogate brother Seth deal with life as outsiders in the wild high-class world of Orange County, California and their often troubled and always dramatic relationships, most notably with Marissa Cooper, Summer Roberts and Taylor Townsend.
It is interesting to note The OC Loyalty Oath that was very popular in the US. I promise to cancel dinner dates, skip night school classes, trade shifts with a co-worker, walk the dog after dinner and do whatever else is necessary to ensure that I am on my couch each and every Thursday night at 9pm. And when I am on that couch at that time, I will do nothing but watch The OC. I vow to do this every week to show my support for Ryan, Seth, Summer, Sandy, Kirsten, Julie and all of those new people that I love. With my humble effort each week, I will help build a groundswell of support for one of the best shows on television, The OC. With this virtual signature, I THEE WATCH. The webpage that invited fans to send emails explaining why they loved the show received over 7,40,000 e-mails.
Season III of OC IV ended with the shocking death of Marissa Cooper. Will Ryan be able to handle Marissa's loss Will the Cohens fail in their attempts to keep him focused on his future Will his outbursts of rage see him landing in trouble
To find out more, stay glued to Zee Cafe to catch The OC4 - beginning 11th Feb. Every Monday @ 9 PM.
