IBN7, the leading Hindi news channel has partnered with MTV, for its popular reality show MTV Hero Honda Roadies for its 6th season – 'MTV Hero Honda Roadies - Hell Down Under'.

In addition to this, two half-hour specials including features on the show and interviews of show hosts will be telecast as a build up to the launch of auditions.

MTV Hero Honda Roadies is one of the most popular reality shows on Indian television. Back with a bigger bang for its sixth season, the show will have 20 roadies instead of 13. To guide them on their journey through hell and double the fun, this time Roadies will have Raghu, who is also the Producer of the show along with his twin brother Rajiv.

"The popularity of reality shows is undeniable today and MTV Roadies has become immensely popular over the years. In tying up with MTV Roadies- Hell Down Under 6.0, we are ensuring that our programming is in-tune with viewer preferences and provides them the most exclusive look-into their favorite reality series." said Dilip Venkatraman, Chief Marketing Officer- IBN Network & COO- IBN Focus.

Says Aditya Swamy, Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing, MTV India, "Our marketing partners are invaluable to us as they broaden the footprint for our shows. IBN7 has been a partnership that brings topicality to the show and recruits audiences for Roadies outside the MTV TG. So right from promoting & covering the auditions, to building buzz on air through interviews with key personalities, to generating topicality through tickers and even being part of a pan network road block on launch day, IBN7 has been very active in their support. It's therefore no surprise that Roadies this year opened with a record rating, which is 4 times that of last year."
